Creamy Beef and Mac One Pot Meal
Here is a quick and easy receipe to make a filling cheap pasta & beef dish.
Equipment
- Large Pot
- Mixing Spoon
- Cheese Grater
- Knife and chopping board
Ingredients
- 1 Tbps Olive oil extra virgin
- 1 Brown Onion Finely diced
- 2-3 Garlic cloves Finely diced
- 0.5 kg Beef mince
- 2 Tbsp Tomato paste
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Pepper
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 2 tsp Italian herbs
- 3 cups Beef broth
- 300 ml Thickened cream
- 0.5 kg Pasta I prefer embow pasta
- 1 cup Shredded cheese
Instructions
- Heat the 1 Tbps Olive oil in a large pan over medium heat, then add diced 1 Brown Onion and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Then add in the diced 2-3 Garlic cloves and cook for another minute.
- Add in the 0.5 kg Beef mince and using a mixing spoon break up any large clumps of beef.
- Once the beef is browned add in the 2 Tbsp Tomato paste, 1 tsp Salt, 1 tsp Pepper, 1 tsp Paprika, and 2 tsp Italian herbs and mix together. Then add in 3 cups Beef broth and 300 ml Thickened cream and heat up to medium/high temperature.
- Add in the 0.5 kg Pasta and mix it in. If the liquid isn't covering the top of the paste add a dash of water or beef broth. Cover and let cook until pasta is al dente, mixing the paste every 1 to 2 minutees to prevent it sicking to the bottom of the pot.
- Once pasta is cook mix in the 1 cup Shredded cheese and serve.
